Summary of the Staff Quality Engineer – Performance Test Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and detailed oriented Performance Test Engineer to join our development unit in India. As a Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing and optimizing the performance of software applications to ensure they meet or exceed defined performance criteria. Collaborating closely with development and quality assurance teams, you will design and execute performance tests, analyze results, and provide recommendations to enhance the overall performance, scalability and reliability of software products.
Responsibilities for the Staff Quality Engineer – Performance Test Engineer
- Evaluate and optimize the speed, scalability, and overall efficiency of software applications
- Design and execute performance tests, analyze results, and identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement
- Collaborate with development teams to implement enhancements and ensure that applications meet performance requirements
- Create and maintain performance testing environments, develop performance monitoring tools, and contribute to the overall performance testing strategy
- Actively participate in defining and implementing an organization's overall performance testing strategy
- Deliver high-performing and scalable software solutions to meet user expectations
Qualifications of the Staff Quality Engineer – Performance Test Engineer
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years in Software Testing and 4+ years as Performance tester
- Experience in performance testing and optimization of software applications
- Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, Locust, LoadRunner, or Gatling
- Proficiency in SQL Server, for querying and analyze data driven matrices
- Experience with test case management tools and defect tracking systems
- Strong understanding of system architecture, databases, and application performance factors.

- Agile/Scrum, DevOps Basic Workflow Understanding, Test Strategy, preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the Staff Quality Engineer – Performance Test Engineer
