The Staff Product Manager will drive the development and evolution of the Realm-X Assistant, AppFolio’s co-pilot experience. Already saving customers over 10 hours per week in completing their to-do list, this role will continue the product’s growth by delivering new AI experiences to boost efficiency and productivity for all segments of our user base.
You will be a key player in shaping the future of AppFolio’s AI strategy. This role is perfect for someone who is customer obsessed, deeply passionate about product design, and possesses the technical expertise to collaborate closely with engineers.
Your impact
Vision & Strategy: Define the vision and strategy for Realm-X Assistant to further AppFolio’s product vision.
Product Development: Pair data with customer research to deeply understand user needs and drive product priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with design, engineering, and other product teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Innovation: Bring industry-changing products to life.
Must have
8+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or related fields, ideally with experience in conversational AI, voice interfaces, or natural language technologies.
Proven success in delivering complex, customer-facing products at scale, ideally in an enterprise technology environment.
Strong technical background with a deep understanding of AI/ML/LLM technologies, APIs, and platform development.
Ability to capitalize on opportunities within a rapidly evolving problem space.
Nice to have
Experience executing data strategies for fueling AI/ML products.
Track record of 0-to-1 product development.
Demonstrate thought leadership via publications or speaking engagements.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $152,000 - $190,000.
The actual base salary for this role may vary greatly to account for the wide range of skills, experience, and qualifications that candidates may possess at this level. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary expectations during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
