Staff Product Manager, Monetization

This is a hybrid role based in our Los Angeles or San Francisco office and will require you to be in office Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What’s the job?   

  • Define and execute the product roadmap to drive monetization strategies that align with the company's strategic goals and user needs.
  • Collaborate and lead cross-functional teams to prioritize features, establish project timelines, and ensure successful product delivery. 
  • Design, implement and measure multivariate A/B tests to show incremental impact across new features and optimize current features.
  • Monitor key product metrics and iterate on features to optimize user experiences, specifically focusing on enhancing the purchase funnel for improved conversion rates and revenue generation.
  • Communicate and present to effectively collaborate and align with cross-functional teams and stakeholders towards monetization goals.     

What we'll love about you  

  • 8+ years’ experience as a product manager, preferably in a consumer-facing subscription based business.
  • Solid understanding of the dynamics of subscription revenue generation, acquisition, conversion and retention models. 
  • Proven track record for leading monetization initiatives from ideation to launch. 
  • Ability to identify challenges and creatively find solutions that align with business objectives and user needs.
  • Experience with A/B testing, user research, and other methodologies to optimize monetization strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform decisions, understand the user behavior and measure revenue opportunities/impact.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex challenges.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of product management methodologies, including market research, ideation, user testing, and agile development.
  • Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and making a positive impact in the LGBTQ+ community.

We’ll really swoon if you have

  • Subject matter expertise in dating and/or social business.
  • Experience launching features globally across different market, cultures and languages 
  • Advanced data analysis skills, including proficiency with tools like SQL, Excel, or data visualization platforms.  
  • Experience in rapid prototyping and iterative product development.
  • Blended experience in small to large scaled global companies.

This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will also be eligible for equity, benefits, and a company bonus program.
