Staff Product Manager (Future Opportunities)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with partners in Engineering, Design, User Research and Data Science to build user-centered products people love;
  • Partner closely with other product teams to support efficient decision making, principled product ideation, and smooth project execution;
  • Possess a deep technical background and a strong, customer-centric approach to product management, which has been repeatedly demonstrated through past projects; 
  • Facilitate the creation of a product roadmap amongst a team of hardworking product managers that prioritizes high-impact customers solutions and contributes to important company goals;
  • Help facilitate the development of success measures for the team to understand impact and work closely with Data Science to track progress, make analytical decisions and drive to clarity;
  • Clearly and concisely convey our product vision to leadership and press to communicate the value of the work that the team is doing;
  • Report out progress and insights to the rest of the organization to generate a sense of excitement and gain buy in from key team members;
  • Be a thought leader and specialist that evangelizes findings and incentive systems to be adopted across the company;
  • Put users first, and are adept at using data, insights, and judgment as the ingredients in your decision;
  • Grow and mentor a team of product managers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of product management experience;
  • Experience starting highly ambitious 0 to 1 products;
  • Prior experience managing and successfully delivering multiple impactful projects with complexity through cross-team collaboration;
  • Strong track record of drafting product strategy, getting buy-off from executives level reviews, and establishing and delivering the product within a larger organization;
  • Proven understanding of engineering concepts and technical depth that lets you connect with and earn the respect of our extraordinary engineering team;
  • Established history of collaboration with user research, design, data science and engineering to come up with multi-quarter roadmaps;
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify and present technical concepts to non-technical partners to explain impact and drive support;
  • Strong ability to make data-driven decisions;
  • Excellent ability to advocate for a team within a large organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Computer science or engineering background preferred.
