Staff Product Designer, Growth

Navan™ is the first modern end-to-end travel and expense management solution built with both the employee and leadership team in mind. Our client base is growing at hyper speed. Our growth team is laser focused on maintaining and expanding that growth, and introducing a wave of new clients to our products. We want those new clients to quickly become experts, and use Navan to its full potential. Their success is our success. 

We’re looking for a design leader to lead Growth design. You’ll work closely with product and engineering leaders to design, experiment, ship, learn and iterate in a fast-paced cycle. Your focus will be attracting and onboarding new clients, and ensuring their success. You’ll also have the opportunity to grow into a management position. You’ll be part of the broader Navan design team, where you can collaborate with world-class designers. We’re looking for someone comfortable with uncertainty and change, excited about shipping quickly and testing out new ideas. The role will combine strong visual and graphic skills with strategic UX thinking and designing innovative and delightful product flows.

What You’ll Do:

  • Help evolve the vision behind Navan and it’s growth initiatives
  • Create in-product promotions and beautiful layouts
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, screen flows and prototypes
  • Define interaction models, user task flows, and UI specifications
  • Contribute to product requirements alongside product managers
  • Uncover multiple ways to solve a problem

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of extensive UX/UI design experience with experience designing complex applications
  • Extensive experience in start-up, agency, growth teams, or other high-speed, high-uncertainty environments
  • Strong visual design skills
  • Collaborative mindset: you thrive in cross-functional environments and have worked with leadership, product, sales and marketing to craft innovative product solutions
  • A positive attitude: You’re a team player and resilient in the face of challenges. Most importantly, you’re fun and a pleasure to be around
  • Interest in management and mentorship: this is a great opportunity for experienced designers looking to potentially move into a leadership role

The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.

For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
