Staff IT Product Manager - Microsoft Solutions

We are looking for a Staff IT Product Manager - Infrastructure (MS Collaboration Suites) to join our IT team in Santa Clara, CA or Tacoma, WA, (Tacoma preferred) reporting to the vice president of IT, Infrastructure, who is based out of Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for the continued implementation, use and product roadmap for the Microsoft Collaboration Suites working closely with business leaders, enterprise-wide users, and broader technology teams. You will use Agile techniques to define and execute high-impact product releases, delivering business benefits, technical quality, and customer satisfaction. You will also facilitate the design and development of stories for release and maintain a backlog based on business value, cost, strategic direction, and the authentic voice of the customer.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap for Microsoft Collaboration Suites that reflects business needs, future development priorities, and company goals; work with the technology vendors and Security teams to define future roadmaps

  • Identify needs by interacting with the business community and vendors and by staying current on industry trends and best practices

  • Lead initiatives to build an engaged user community, driving adoption of Microsoft solutions while enhancing the overall experience for end-users

  • Ensure backlog queue is well defined, prioritized, socialized, communicated, and recorded in an Agile toolset

  • Collaborate with team leads to ensure functional requirements are complete, translated into technical requirements, and the user stories are ready to code

  • Perform business and technical analysis with subject matter experts and internal customers to refine MVP and release goals

  • Validate perceived needs by conducting surveys, polling, facilitating focus groups, etc. and identify new opportunities, product enhancements, and line extensions

  • Monitor progress and provide reports on Product strategy and direction

  • Define value stream metrics, such as identifying OKRs and measuring for success related to ROI and delivery

  • Collaborate with broader IT and business teams to identify upstream, downstream, or other product-related dependencies

 

 What you’ll bring: 

  • 12+ years of IT experience; 5+ years as a lead product owner, business analyst, infrastructure manager, or a similar role in projects implementing, supporting, and adopting Microsoft O365 suite of projects specifically Teams, MS SharePoint sites/documentation, and automation with MS Copilot  

  • Good understanding of all Microsoft best practices like right folder structure, site maintenance, Teams usage, etc.; SaaS, private Cloud, and Cloud experience preferred

  • Ability to provide guidance and direction throughout project lifecycles in a dev/sec/ops CI/CD environment

  • Experience in collaboration support processes/SNOW Integrations

  • Solid understanding of automation and AI/ML initiatives

  • Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes

  • Customer/client relationship management skills with the ability to operate as an individual contributor to get the job done and be able to guide a team toward an objective

  • Product or program management experience with complex products in a fast-paced environment using Agile methodologies

  • Experience managing and building teams and the ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, and influence cross-functional teams

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business administration or equivalent education and work experience


What success looks like:

After six months, you will…

  • Build executive relationships with key leaders and program teams

  • Understand  our infrastructure landscape and Microsoft collaboration suite and strive for quick wins

  • Drive our cross-functional intake of new requirements and features to higher quality and timeliness 

After about a year, you will…

  • Work closely with the Infrastructure team and successfully deliver productivity, adoption, and user experience to the larger Infoblox community

  • Cross-pollinate ideas between and among business initiatives to allow improved solutions architecture

  • Influence business direction and transformation

You can expect our employment offers to take many factors into consideration, including but not limited to the location of the role, internal equity, applicable past experience, individual skill set, education, and professional certifications. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned is the base salary range for the role. The typical base salary range for this position in Santa Clara, CA is $125,400 - $188,980 plus corporate bonus potential. The typical base salary range for this position in Washington is $119,600 - $180,290 plus corporate bonus potential.
