As a Staff level Interaction Designer you will be responsible for leading certain aspects of Interaction Design for Intuitive’s da Vinci Surgical System. Working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will continually push to execute consistent and high-quality user experiences for Intuitive’s Multiport product line. The Multiport Interaction Design team’s primary focus is to ensure that Intuitive products are Useful, Usable and Desirable. This includes development of user interfaces from early product definition and development phases through product launch, as well as participating in the validation of product usability through informal and formal testing with representative users.

The ideal candidate is passionate about intentional aesthetics and the critical role design plays in intersecting the needs of the user with business goals and product continuity. This candidate should have experience designing end-to-end experiences for a wide range of products and services.
You are a highly collaborative individual and believe that design is a team endeavor. You enjoy helping your team and mentoring junior designers. Participating in design reviews/critiques and planning is just part of your day.
