Position: Staff Engineer - Instructional Designer
Team: Quality Assurance Engineering Team
Instructional designer with at least 5-10 years experience, should be able to work from the Western Digital Bangalore office, have the ability to manage multiple deliverables, develop e-learning courses, have experience with authoring tools Articulate Studio or Articulate Storyline, and have experience updating web pages similar to SharePoint.
Job Description:
- In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content, Reshaping content for changing needs.
- Structuring content and optimizing learning.
- Ensuring content matches established objectives. Conducting any research required.
- Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them
- Work with subject matter experts to identify the target audience’s training needs,
- Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product
- Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
- WBT, ILT, VILT, Microlearning, Mobile learning, Gamification, Assessments, etc
- Training Gap Analysis
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, etc.)
- Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio, and video scripts

Mandatory requirement: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in e-module development
