Staff Engineer, Operational Excellence (Green Belt/Black Belt)

​​​​​​​ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Coaches the Lean Six Sigma to use the appropriated tools and techniques with DMAIC/DMADV methodology. 
  • Organizes and facilitates workshop to identify the opportunity and projects, coach the team in the projects to meet the goal.
  • Organizes and facilitates Small Group Activity, Team Excellence and other project competition. 
  • Promotes continuous improvement culture in the organization.
  • The subject matter expert in Lean Six Sigma training development and consultant to other department on tool application. 
  • Monitors, coaches and certifies the Lean Six Sigma candidates to meet with the department goals.
  • Works with other departments on continuous improvement projects by providing technical support and facilitating.
  • Reports out statistics on the Lean Six Sigma related KPIs to drive for continuous improvement culture
  • Facilitate CI Workshops on the shop floor and developing the framework of the workshops. 
  • Create CI program frameworks which covers 3 CI Pillars: CI Culture, CI Competency Building, CI Execution

REQUIRED:

  • Minimum degree holder in any field.
  • Minimum 8 years in Lean Six Sigma coaching and/or project leader.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification or experiences with proven success story.

 PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Strong background in electronics/semiconductor operation.
  • Added advantages if experienced in facilitating the VSM or any kind of Lean Six Sigma workshop.
  • Added advantages if experienced in conducting any Lean Six Sigma related training titles (TTT certified by HRDF if possible).
  • Potential candidate with Six Sigma methodology experiences is highly desired/preferred
  • Able to work independently under minimal supervision.
