About the role
We're seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer with a deep focus on safeguarding our cloud-native environment. Your role will be centered around advanced security practices, including managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and AWS CDK, ensuring container security and IT security as well. You'll tackle complex security challenges and be a driving force in integrating state-of-the-art security measures into our development and operational workflows.
What you will do
- Architect and enforce sophisticated security frameworks in our technology Infra (predominantly AWS in cloud environment).
- Utilize Terraform and AWS CDK to build and maintain secure and compliant infrastructure.
- Implement and refine security controls in CI/CD pipelines to prevent vulnerabilities.
- Conduct advanced penetration testing and security assessments for cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Resolve complex security issues involving cloud services and containerized environments.
- Develop comprehensive cloud security strategies and policies.
- Lead and manage security incident response and post-mortem analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement of our security posture through innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Promote a culture of security awareness across all departments.
- Implement security best practices.
- Fair understanding of RBI cyber security guidelines.
What you will need
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Extensive experience in cloud security, especially in AWS.
- Proficiency in IaC, particularly with Terraform and AWS CDK.
- Advanced knowledge in securing containerized environments.
- Demonstrated skill in identifying and solving complex security issues.
- Experience with scripting and automation.
- Knowledge of security compliance and risk management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Active participation in security forums or contribution to open-source security projects.
