The Role
We are looking for Staff Engineer DevOps, who will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing infrastructure and automation solutions to support a scalable, secure, and highly available environment. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline our CI/CD processes, enhance system reliability, and promote infrastructure as code (IaC).
How you'll make an impact?

Technical Leadership and Architecture:
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions that are scalable, resilient, and aligned with business objectives.
- Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid development, testing, and deployment of applications.
- Lead technical discussions and promote best practices in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

Automation and Infrastructure as Code:
- Develop and manage automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning and maintenance.
- Use IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate deployments and ensure consistency across environments.
- Advocate for containerization and orchestration technologies, e.g., Docker and Kubernetes, to optimize application deployment and scalability.

Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
- Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to enhance system observability.
- Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and performance issues, driving improvements in system reliability.
- Optimize application performance and resource utilization to ensure efficient cloud usage and minimize operational costs.

Collaboration and Mentorship:
- Work closely with software engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure DevOps practices are integrated across the SDLC.
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure DevSecOps principles are integrated, focusing on secure coding practices and compliance.

Continuous Improvement:
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, identifying bottlenecks and implementing enhancements in the DevOps pipeline.
- Evaluate and adopt new tools, technologies, and practices that align with the team's and organization’s goals.
- Define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) for DevOps practices to track efficiency and impact.
What we're looking for?

Experience: 9+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.

Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
- Skilled in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

Programming: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and knowledge of at least one programming language.

Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience in cross-functional team collaboration.

Certifications: Relevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
- Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps (DevSecOps).
- Prior experience in large-scale system architecture and distributed systems.
