Staff Engineer, Data Analytics Engineering (6+ Years exp in Full stack Web Application development, data engineering Fundamentals))

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Advanced Analytics Office is leading a factory analytics platform that enables advanced analytics, engineering dashboards and drilldown analysis. The platform has been implemented at various factories globally and added significant business value. The selected candidate will be a part of a dynamic team working closely with factory engineering and the platform development team to provide factory solutions specifically designed to address business challenges. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a team that's instrumental in WDC’s Industry 4.0 journey. We'll change the way technology is used across global.

Position Responsibilities:

• Strong conceptional and analytical skills with hands-on software development experience
• Operational abilities including early software release support and driving root cause analysis and remediation.
• Work with cross functional stakeholders to understand their analytics needs to build efficient and scalable data solutions.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and take up challenges.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline.
• 6+ years experience in Full Stack Web Application Development with Data Engineering fundamental  exposure 
• Proficiency with:
  • Server-side languages: Python, PHP
  • Client-side programming: JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  •  Database Technology :  AWS (RedShift  ) , MSSQL. Big data Technologies (Hadoop /Hive/S3 )
  • Data pipeline and workflow management tools: Airflow
• Good understanding of containerization and orchestration tools: Docker, Kubernetes 
• Exposure to Common Web Frameworks & REST API’s
• Preferred Skills : 
• Familiar with Dash framework (Python web framework) for building interactive web applications.
