Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Staff Compensation Analyst to join our
HR team in Bangalore. This individual contributor role is essential for maintaining and
enhancing our compensation program. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in
both U.S. and India compensation practices and will take a lead role in creating, maintaining,
and updating salary ranges, administering the annual compensation cycle, and producing data
and analytics to support our compensation strategies.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
● Develop, maintain, and update salary ranges for all job families and levels within the
organization. Ensure that salary ranges are competitive and aligned with market trends
and internal equity.

● Act as a subject matter expert in compensation, ensuring the ongoing effectiveness and
competitiveness of our compensation programs. Provide insights and recommendations
for program enhancements based on market trends and organizational needs.
● Ensure that the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) is updated with relevant
compensation information, including salary ranges, compensation adjustments, and
market survey data.
● Lead initiatives to define and refine job families and levels across the organization.
Collaborate with HR and business leaders to establish clear role definitions and career
paths that align with organizational goals.
● Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to create and promote new career paths that
facilitate employee growth and development. Ensure that career paths are
communicated effectively throughout the organization.
● Manage the annual compensation cycle, including salary reviews, merit increases,
bonus allocations, and equity adjustments. Ensure timely execution and adherence to
company policies and procedures.
● Produce and present comprehensive data reports and analytics to inform compensation
decisions. Utilize data to evaluate the effectiveness of compensation strategies and
recommend changes as necessary.
● Work closely with the Director of HR, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders to align
compensation strategies with broader HR initiatives and business objectives. Influence
decision-making through effective communication of compensation insights.
● Assist in the development and maintenance of compensation policies and practices,
ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with industry standards.
● Conduct regular market research to benchmark compensation practices and ensure our
offerings remain competitive. Analyze external compensation data to inform internal
practices.
● Provide guidance and support to HR colleagues and management on compensation-
related inquiries and issues, fostering a better understanding of compensation structures
and policies.

WHAT YOU BRING:
● Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
● Minimum of 8 years of experience in compensation analysis, with significant experience
in both U.S. and India compensation practices.
● Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and compensation software.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with
various stakeholders across the organization.
● Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
environment.
● Knowledge of relevant labor laws and compensation regulations in both the U.S. and
India.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Professional certification in compensation (e.g., CCP) is a plus.
● Experience in a tech or fast-growing company is highly desirable.

priorities as needed to meet changing business demands and workforce dynamics.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and persuasive
presentations of data and recommendations to various stakeholders, including HR
leadership and management.
● Excellent relationship-building abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues in HR,
Talent Acquisition, and across departments, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
● Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while
maintaining high-quality standards in deliverables.
● Ability to advocate for compensation recommendations and changes persuasively,
working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve buy-in and support for initiatives.
● Understanding of diverse cultural perspectives, particularly regarding compensation
practices in both the U.S. and India, to ensure equitable and inclusive compensation
policies.

Work Environment:
This position is hybrid, requiring three days a week in the Bangalore office, with expectations to
work in the U.S. time zone as needed. Regular meetings will be held with leaders and
managers, and you will have 1:1s scheduled with your manager located in the EST time zone.
