Position Summary:
As a Staff Claims Adjuster, you will play a vital role in our claims department by handling various insurance claims. You'll be with our director of claims to assist clients as we process their claims. We seek a detail-oriented and experienced Contents Only Staff Adjuster to join our claims team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and adjusting personal property claims, focusing specifically on the contents of a claimclaimant'sage unit. Desk adjusting, no field inspections. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal property claims and a keen eye for detail, ensuring thorough documentation and timely resolutions.
Responsibilities:
Investigate and document claims to determine coverage and liability.
Negotiate settlements with claimants and third-party representatives.
Process payments and maintain accurate claim records.
Assist with complex claims as needed.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
MUST have 3+ years of experience as a claims adjuster.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
You must be a licensed claims adjuster.
MUST be located in the Austin Metro area.
