Staff, Change and Communications Manager [Security Governance and Strategy]

The Security Governance and Strategy team is responsible for Coupang's Governance, Risk and Compliance, Security awareness and cultural change as well as the Security Project Management Office.

The responsibilities of this area are multifacted. We are responsible for providing the security policies and procedures and ensure they are adhered too. We also maintain our security certifications and ensure that all regulatory obligations are met. We also provice technical project management to security projects, as well as managing the security budgets and resourcing for the information security team. We are also responsible for educating Coupang employees and customers on being cyber safe.

Role Overview

This individual will fulfill a quality assurance role over change management and communications artefacts and activities within the IT security teams. The role entails minimizing the adverse effects of security changes and implementation and optimizing positive results. This includes understanding its impact on individuals and facilitating their adaptation to new circumstances or changes. This role will develop and standardise change and communications messaging to ensure uptake and engagement of employees in relation to security. Provide support to the CISO, TPM’s and other project managers and the cyber awareness team.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Engage with stakeholders in the change management context, delivering change management support, particularly communications

· Provide strategic support and advice to leaders and stakeholders on how to effectively engage and communicate about upcoming change.

· Develop and implement the Change Management Strategy and relevant plans such as the Engagement & Communication Plans to drive positive acceptance and adoption of change, and rapid take up of new technologies, processes or operating models.

· Develop and present project and practice communications, including senior management briefings, staff presentations, and all communication activities reflect client excellence and responsiveness.

· Build and Own channels for better communication with the business and customers on IT Security. Responsibility of security documentation and awareness materials on multiple channels (ie Coupang Hub, the Wiki, IT Security newsletter etc)

· Facilitate speakers and manage the monthly tech talk program

· Be a self-starter with initiative, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

· Work together with global teams across different time zones to support urgent project needs

 

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree

· 5+ years of experience with information security and/or technology

· Strong communications or training background

 

Preferred Qualifications

· Demonstrates an understanding and successful application of change management and/or communication theory.

· Possesses excellent writing and editing skills.

· Is resilient and capable of handling ambiguity.

· Has a strong tech background

· Has strong interpersonal skills.
