Warehouse Management System Front is a team that builds, owns and manages all warehouse client applications (mobile and web) that serve all functions for the warehouse workers like inbound and outbound, stowing, picking, rebinning and so on. We are central to all the Company because we are central to the fulfillment and warehouse work. We use modern technologies like React, Redux, and Playwright for web; Kafka, Java and Spring Boot for backend for frontend and mobile; and Java for native mobile for the best user experience.

 

What You Will Do-

  • Develop features, algorithms, simulation and systems at scale to improve warehouse and fulfillment centers technologies and client applications.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations and Product team to understand key business needs and ideate best User Experience and User Interface.
  • Effectively collaborate with other teams, lead projects across teams and mentor team members.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative discipline: computer science, informatics, IT, HCI, physics, mathematics, music, engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in building end-to-end client applications and/or backend for frontend/mobile (BBFs) APIs in REST, gRPC or GraphQL
  • Strong coding skills in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript or Java.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in business and technology.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural, cross functional team.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in building and owning production-grade client backend for frontend/mobile (BFF) APIs/services in REST, gRPC or GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of well architectured AWS principles
  • Knowledge of PubSub, asynchronous queues
  • Proficient in toolings like Docker Containers, Kubernetes, AWS, SQL, Redis, Kafka, Airflow, Circle CI/CD.
  • Proficient in Spring Boot
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills while addressing both technical and business people; ability to speak at a level appropriate for the audience.
  • Experience in one of the domains: e-commerce, UX/UI, internal tools, supply chains, transportation or logistics.
