ICAST (International Center for Appropriate and Sustainable Technology) is a 501c3 nonprofit that delivers green upgrades to multifamily affordable housing (MFAH) properties to fight the affordable housing, climate change, and social equity crises. We motivate people to act, leading to results that foster local economic development, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility. By 2025, we aim to reduce utility costs for LMI (Low and Moderate Income) households by $270 Million, Carbon emission by 1.5 million tons, create 2,000 sustainable jobs, and invest over $100 Million in local communities.

Position Overview:
The Staff Accountant will assist the Controller with all accounting functions at ICAST. This includes construction and grant project accounting (AP, AR, ledgers), payroll, account analysis, variance analysis and monthly reporting. This role partners with and supports the Controller in monitoring financial performance.

Education: BS Degree in Accounting or related field
Areas of Expertise: Payroll regulations and processing, ERP systems, GAAP, Federal & State Grant Financial Reporting, Construction Accounting; General Ledger, Sage Intacct, KPIs, 501c3 non-Profit Accounts
Compensation: $80K DOE
