Staff Accountant

As Relyance AI’s Staff Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. You will be responsible for managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close processes, while also contributing to various accounting, finance, and operations projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Accounting and Finance, this position offers a unique opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and innovative environment.

As a Staff Accountant, your role will include:

• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Execute all AP and AR processes, including transaction processing, vendor management, and customer invoicing.
• Month-End Close: Assist in the timely and accurate completion of month-end close procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting and Tax: Prepare financial reports, tax returns, and other required documentation.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process, providing analysis and support for informed decision making.
• Reconciliations: Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Analysis and Support: Provide analytical support and insights to facilitate effective decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in general accounting, with a strong focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Bonus points for:

• Experience using NetSuite or similar accounting software.
• Experience using Jirav or other planning tools.

As such, the base salary pay range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000.
