Lucid is seeking a dynamic and high performing Staff Accountant to join the Accounting Team. Our team plays a critical role in ensuring optimal financial management and efficient operations across Lucid. We also partner, cross-functionally, to appropriately allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and facilitate the execution of operational plans. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare month-end journal entries
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation for annual audit
  • Fixed asset accounting
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Assist in updating internal controls documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Collaborate well with other members of the Accounting team and other departments
  • Possess strong problem solving skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with passion for taking ownership
  • Ability to work independently, with little direction
  • Motivation for excellence and exceeding expectations
  • Passionate about teamwork with an optimistic outlook
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, growth environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting
  • 1-2 years experience as a Staff Accountant or similar position (not required)
  • CPA license (or working towards CPA license)
  • Public accounting experience
  • NetSuite experience
