As a Staff accountant, you will be responsible for assisting the controller in maintaining accurate books of accounts including book keeping, analysis and reporting. The main duties and responsibilities include
- Raising invoices for all completed sales orders
- Maintaining AR reporting and keeping the records clean by applying the payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Processing and Accounting for Vendor invoices, credit card statements and employee reimbursements
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Assist with Balance sheet and PnL reconciliations, analysis and reporting
- Assist with Cash management and month end reporting
- Assist controller with commissions accounting and adhoc requests from Corporate in UK
- 18 months+ work experience in a similar role
- Accounting or Finance degree from an accredited college preferred
- Experience in event management is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactively take actions necessary to produce results.
- Generate timely decisions and have sound judgment.
- Build trust internally and externally, and command a professional image.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with non-accounting leaders
- Proficient in Excel – minimum of Vlook up, Pivots etc
- Detail oriented without losing sight of big picture
- Good time management to work in a fast paced environment
The pay range for this position is $60k-$70k / annually depending on experience.
