We are looking for a Staff Accountant/Accounting Operations Specialist
Compensation: $99,000 - $109,000 salary, employee equity plan grant & world class benefits.
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Payroll Specialist to support our Global Payroll Manager in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple countries. The Payroll Specialist will assist in managing international payroll operations, maintaining compliance with local regulations, and providing exceptional service to our global employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, excellent attention to detail, and experience in a multinational environment.
Requirements
About the role:
- Deliver a high volume of transactional work with accuracy and timeliness, focusing on expense report processing
- Use expense software (Expensify) to extensively audit expenses, maintain user profiles, and provide analytical reports as needed
- Create journal entries related to expenses to import into our accounting GL software (Netsuite), and own related account reconciliations
- Monitor and manage Payroll mailboxes, and serve as point of contact for employee pay-related questions, providing superior customer service skills
- Research and resolve a variety of routing internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons
- Create, lead, and/or participate in process improvement projects within Payroll and across the organization as appropriate.
- Assist the Global Payroll Manager in processing payroll for employees across the globe, including calculations for new starters, terminations, etc.
- Handle employee data and updates in our payroll system throughout the lifecycle of each employee
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Ability to manipulate data in G-Suite and/or Excel using vlookup formulas and pivot tables
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
