  • SSD Hardware Engineer

This position is within Solidigm PRC Failure Analysis and Capability Engineering team based in Shanghai China. The primary role of FACE team is to co-work with different function groups within Solidigm troubleshooting various product/system related issues which are reported internally or externally.  SSD hardware engineers in FACE team conduct failure analysis on HW issues reported by customers, drive for root cause and corrective actions to improve SSD product quality.

Qualifications:

Ideally, we are looking for the following:

  • Must have at least 3 years of board designing and debugging experience. 
  • Must have bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and the other related degree
  • Knowledge of storage products for example, DRAM, NAND and SSDs. 
  • Familiar with SPI/UART/I2C/DDR4/PCIe interfaces.
  • Able to perform HW debug with instruments including digital meters, oscilloscope, logical analyzer and protocol analyzers etc. 
  • Knowledge in NVMe/PCIe protocols is preferred. 

New graduates with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and the other related degree with some knowledge on hardware system are also welcome to apply.
