SSD Firmware Development Engineer

Solidigm was previously known as Intel Non-Volatile-Solution Group, which was acquired by SK Hynix in December 2021. • Firmware Development Engineer

This position is within PRC Failure Analysis and Capability Engineering team based in Shanghai China. The primary role of FACE team is to co-work with different function groups within Solidigm troubleshooting various product/system related issues which are reported internally or externally.  SSD firmware engineers in FACE team are expected to develop debug firmware to facilitate hardware debug and help narrow down issues to their root causes. 

• Qualifications

Ideally, we are looking for the following:

• At least 3 years of working experience in embedded software development
• Must have bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or other related degree
• Must be proficient in C or C++ or Phyton programming
• Must have knowledge of storage products for example, DRAM, NAND and SSDs
• Development experience with embedded firmware such as RTOS or BIOS. 
• Familiarity with DDR4/DDR5 and PCIe interfaces is a plus. 
• Knowledge in NVMe/PCIe protocols is preferred. 

New graduates with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and the other related degree with knowledge in either C or C++ or Python programming are welcome to apply.
