Meztal is seeking a highly experienced Senior Web Developer with a strong foundation in digital marketing to join our Guadalajara team. This role demands a strategic and hands-on approach to web development, prioritizing the creation and optimization of high-impact digital experiences that drive user engagement and brand value. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in web development, UX/UI optimization, and digital marketing collaboration, particularly within agency settings and with international clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Web Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust, responsive websites that align with brand standards and marketing goals. Use advanced HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) to ensure optimal performance, security, and cross-device compatibility.
- SEO Strategy and Implementation: Conduct thorough SEO audits, and implement complex SEO tactics to improve rankings and visibility. Work alongside the marketing team to develop and execute strategies for organic growth and technical SEO enhancements.
- Data-Driven UX/UI Optimization: Apply UX/UI best practices through data analysis and user feedback to continually improve website usability and conversion rates. Conduct A/B testing and leverage UX research tools (e.g., Hotjar, Crazy Egg) to refine user journeys and maximize engagement.
- Content Management and Marketing Integration: Oversee and manage website content updates through CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal), ensuring timely, SEO-optimized updates that support content marketing initiatives and brand consistency.
- Email and Landing Page Development: Design, develop, and troubleshoot advanced, responsive email templates and high-converting landing pages using HTML/CSS and JavaScript. Collaborate with marketing to enhance customer engagement and lead generation strategies.
- Analytics and Performance Optimization: Implement and monitor site analytics using tools like Google Analytics and Tag Manager. Provide in-depth analysis of website performance, user behavior, and conversion trends, with regular reporting to the marketing team and data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing, design, and content teams to align development initiatives with marketing objectives, driving cohesive and effective digital experiences.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) for lead management and campaign optimization.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices for secure web development.
- Expertise in A/B testing and familiarity with conversion rate optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies for project management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of advanced web development experience, with a significant focus on marketing-driven projects, ideally within a marketing or digital agency environment.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Deep understanding of SEO and UX/UI principles, with a proven track record of successful implementation.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and UX research tools.
- Fluent English proficiency, with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with international teams.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model based in Guadalajara, Mexico.
