**Please only apply if you reside in or near Cluj-Napoca Romania** As Knotch’s Sr. Technical Product Manager, you will own end-to end technical product development by working with other product team members to understand customer demands and manage day to day development, amongst other things. You will work closely with our Head of Product, Matt Davis, as well as team members from our engineering, sales, and marketing teams. Your analytical reasoning skills and ability to work collaboratively with others are key traits that will help you understand what our customers need and build capabilities that match that need in our platform.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end technical product development by working with Head of Product and other Product team members to identify customer pain points, define product requirements, manage day-to-day development, testing, and launches.
  • Help drive the product lifecycle, from researching market needs, writing detailed user stories and delivering the product to market in partnership with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Understand our customers and stakeholders: Conduct interviews and analyze usage data to define personas, user journeys, and critical use cases. 
  • Run day-to-day product operations in partnership with Engineering, including Daily Standup, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Planning.
  • Serve as the technical liaison between internal stakeholders, Product and Engineering for all things involving platform data, metrics, analytics infrastructure, data analysis, sharing, and reporting to unlock value for Knotch.
  • Develop a deep understanding of how our internal data systems interact with each other and how third party datasets can fit into our ecosystem.
  • Maintain close partnership with Data Science, Data Engineering, and Software Engineering teams.
  • Consult with stakeholders and Product Managers to understand data needs and align requirements.
  • Define, standardize and evolve data logic, metrics and definitions across Knotch Products in-line with customer use cases and measurement scenarios.
  • Author technical feature requirements in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria for varying business use cases,
  • Assist internal and external stakeholders with data issues, questions and support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS product management experience
  • Past experience working on data products, APIs, data warehouses, and/or other data-centric software solutions (required) 
  • 3+ years managing cross-functional and cross-team projects.
  • 3+ years of experience gathering customer requirements and creating customer-centric product designs
  • Extremely comfortable engaging in technical conversations with data engineers & data scientists
  • Has strong experience building out integrations, ideally with CRM’s, CMS, CDP’s, Personalization platforms. 
  • Experience using data analysis tools (i.e. SQL, Tableau) to extract data and synthesize into actionable insights
  • Intimate knowledge of Agile methodologies and core values to deliver work within Scaled Agile framework (SAFe)
  • Strong communication skills to translate quantitative details into clear, succinct summaries and recommendations for Product Team 
  • A team player with a relentlessly positive outlook and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Experience in small and/or startup companies (5-50 employees) preferred, with the ability to wear multiple hats and thrive in a fast-paced environment 
  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing OR equivalent experience (Computer Science, Engineering preferred) 

Salary & Working Hours

  • Salary will be determined based on years of experience. This position requires EST/CST working hours. This is a CONTRACT position.
