About the role

To be successful as a Sr Technical Marketing Engineer you must possess a combination of strong technical and communication skills as well as have a passion for SDWAN/Cloud networking and security. You will interact with customers frequently presenting our solution, solving issues and managing expectations. You will create technical collaterals for these products for sales enablement

What you will be doing

  • Participate in customer and partner meetings to provide technical presentation and demo.
  • Engage with sales team in pre-sales activities for successful customer Proof of concept/Proof of value.
  • Provide Design and Implementation guidance for enterprise customers
  • Create technical collaterals like design guides, whitepapers, technical presentation and proof of value demos.
  • Work with engineering and product management team to define product requirements and feature priorities
  • Engage in customer support activities to triage issues
  • Provide Hands-on training sessions to sales engineers and customers
  • Validate new technologies/releases in the lab

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years in networking technology
  • 4+ years in SDWAN
  • Experience is handling large SDWAN deployments
  • Technical expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, Multicast..etc)
  • Very strong (written and verbal) communication and presentation skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Experience in fast-paced environments with overlapping projects/deliverables
  • Proven track record of success in excelling in a fast-paced environment where action and initiative are prerequisites to being successful

Education

  • Bachelor degree (technical disciplines preferred) required
