Summary of Position:
The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in planning and supporting Scholar Rock’s growth in 2025. We are approaching our first product launch as a company and this person will be a highly visible contributor to the buildout that we have upon us. You will partner with internal stakeholders at all levels to ensure that their hiring needs are being met with quality and efficiency. To succeed in this role you must be passionate about the candidate experience and excited by the challenge of finding and hiring the best possible candidates to reach our hiring goals.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with leaders and hiring managers across teams to build effective sourcing, pipelining, assessment, and closing approaches.
- Work directly with multiple Hiring Managers on the planning and efficient execution of their hiring plan.
- Utilize our Applicant Tracking System (Lever) for job posting, candidate communication & management, interview scheduling & offer process
- Evaluate and implement new and creative ideas to proactively attract candidates and build talent networks and pipelines with quality candidates that meet our business needs and align with our values.
- Uphold high standards in candidate experience by providing clear expectations as well as constant communication with both candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire recruiting and onboarding process.
- Provide insights into process improvements to Scholar Rock’s candidate experience & recruiting practices.
- Build Scholar Rock’s talent brand to continue attracting and hiring high-caliber and diverse talent.
- Utilize existing sourcing tools and identify new & innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent for leadership searches and technical roles.
- Identify and leverage external recruiting partners as needed.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in HR/Talent Acquisition with proven experience of a data-driven outlook.
- Strong project management skills - organized, detail oriented, execution focused.
- High social and emotional intelligence - you truly enjoy mentoring team members and cultivating strong relationships with all types of people.
- Exceptional talent scouting and assessment capabilities; to be able to both find and select the best talent
- Strong influence and negotiating skills to both attract and close great candidates
- Excellent knowledge of Recruiting and HR best practices and industry standards.
- Experience establishing relationships as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders.
- Previous experience working in an emerging biotech or similar environment is a significant plus
