Sr Supply Chain Analyst

About the Team:

The Supply Chain team is responsible for managing the entire process of sourcing raw materials, packaging, and various supplies (office, cleaning, and kitchen items), as well as ensuring their efficient distribution to chefs and fulfillment centers. By enabling smooth and seamless operations, the Supply Chain team plays a vital role in supporting our customers' weekly digital experience as they explore and select their favorite meals from our extensive menu of 300+ items.

The role:

We are looking for a full-time Sr. Supply Chain Analyst who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment. This is a high-impact role that demands continuous communication and collaboration across multiple areas of CookUnity.

As a Sr. Supply Chain Analyst, you'll bring a self-reliant mindset and strong spreadsheet skills (especially Excel) to support and streamline operational tasks. You'll play a key role in sourcing and supply chain management, contributing to the achievement of company goals while accelerating your own development.

You’re highly organized, self-motivated, and committed to delivering results with a "get stuff done" attitude. You value teamwork and understand that the impact of your contributions will drive meaningful improvements across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Own key metrics (e.g., food costs), identify cost gaps, and perform deep dives to maintain accuracy ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Analyze inventory discrepancies and their cost impact, creating corrective action plans.
  • Manage stock levels to prevent shortages and excess, balancing availability with waste reduction. Follow up on the extra spent due to the purchasing delta, define an action plan to avoid it but at the same time keep healthy stocks of short life products to avoid increasing the waste and spoilage.
  • Oversee and optimize the ordering and distribution processes in collaboration with other teams.
  • Monitor and communicate any price changes to relevant departments.
  • Coordinate the deployment of new inventory management software.
  • Develop and enhance SOPs to ensure process adherence and improve department efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of previous experience in Supply Chain;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other related;
  • Analytical skills and an excellent use of Google Sheets/Excel are required;
  • SQL basic knowledge;
  • Strong problem solving & multi-tasking skills with great attention to detail and aptitude for numbers;
  • Since our HQ are located in NYC, an excellent level of English is required
