As a Senior Solution Architect - Coupa Pay, you will be a pivotal member of our Professional Services Team, working closely with Coupa Customers, Partners, and internal Product Management to implement the most valuable solutions for our clients. Your expertise in Procure to Pay processes will be critical in supporting the design, implementation, and deployment of best practice solutions that ensure customer success while driving efficiencies and improvements.
Your area of focus will include Coupa Pay, which consists of three key products:
• Bank Payments
• Virtual Credit Cards
• Early Payment Discounts
What you will do:
- Lead all aspects of implementations, including design, configuration, and testing phases of Coupa Pay solutions for global clients
- Engage customers in insightful discussions about their business needs, moving beyond basic feature/function explanations
- Produce business requirements, high-level design documents, and detailed file mapping specifications
- Provide technical and functional expertise to customers during the implementation process, advising clients on industry and Coupa Pay best practices to drive process transformation
- Mentor team members on client customization practices, system architecture, and testing strategies
- Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of our product, discussing and showcasing the full Coupa Pay platform and its configuration to meet customer business needs
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to analyze, determine, and recommend best practices for implementing customers
- Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery
- Coach clients to optimize their electronic payment initiatives
- Share relevant prior experiences with customers and colleagues, contributing valuable insights
- Provide assistance to colleagues as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment
- Work effectively in both individual and team settings, on and off client sites
- Manage customer relationships, with up to 25% of your time potentially involving travel
- Conduct Coupa platform demonstrations and deliver various training sessions
What you will bring to Coupa:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- In-depth understanding of accounting, bank treasury systems, ACH/Wire Payments, Credit card payments, Domestic/ International payments and procure-to-pay products
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
- Proficiency in Agile and waterfall SDLC methodologies
- Experience with Jira, Salesforce, Postman, Excel, Visio, and database structures
- Knowledge of bank connectivity (SWIFT, H2H, EBICS, etc.)
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Relevant financial process automation experience with payment applications like Bill.com or Tipalti
- Extremely strong client management skills with the ability to work with customers to execute implementation plans for a rapid, successful go-live of Coupa Pay products
- Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS), as well as experience with financial accounting, customer management, and payment solutions
- Experience configuring and delivering software demonstrations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and passionate environment
- Must be able to work remotely
The estimated pay range for this role is as follows:
•Based in Bay Area, California: $133,025 - $156,500
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
