Summary
The Sr. Software Engineer will bring a robust background in software development, coupled with an expertise in the C# and .NET framework. This role will play a pivotal role in designing, developing and maintaining top-tier software solutions tailored to meet our client’s specific needs. The role holds significant importance through the software development lifecycle, encompassing everything from initial design and coding to rigorous testing and seamless deployment.
Requirements
Who You are:
- You are an EXPERT in C# and .NET framework.
- You are an EXPERT in using ASP.NET to build APIs and backend web services.
- You are proficient in writing automated testing (unit tests and integration tests)
- You have proven experience (5+ years) designing, building, and maintaining scalable and robust backend systems, including work with micro-services architecture.
- You have a deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, large-scale, distributed applications.
- You have experience with JSON, XML and /or gRPC.
- You have strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to a diverse audience.
- You have experience with CI/CD.
- You have expertise with data storage solutions ( SQL and NoSQL databases) and data processing Frameworks ( e.g, Kafka)
- You have experience in consulting or consultancy agencies.
- You have a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities:
- You will design, develop, and maintain microservices following best practices, ensuring optimal performance and integration with other system components.
- You will create, optimize and manage data structures and pipelines by collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements for data storage, processing, retrieval, pipeline design and data modeling.
- You will work with complex data models and ensure smooth data flow within the system by understanding data models, analysis and design, implementation and testing.
- Integrate external services and APIs as required to enhance functionality and interoperability.
- You will implement and maintain robust security protocols, ensuring data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- You will follow and promote best practices in coding, design, and development methodologies, maintaining quality and consistency across the team by actively soliciting feedback.
- You will conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to ensure code quality, maintainability and system scalability by participating in regular team meetings.
- You will stay current with emerging tech and industry trends, fostering adoption of new methodologies through continuous learning, hands-on experimentation, documentation, and tool evaluation.
