Requirements
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for our data cybersecurity products, ensuring comprehensive test coverage
- Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to understand product requirements and contribute to the creation of test plans and strategies
- Develop and implement robust testing frameworks to validate the functionality, security, and performance of our software solutions
- Conduct thorough analysis of system vulnerabilities, identifying potential risks, and contributing to the enhancement of security measures
- Execute and automate functional, integration, regression, and performance testing processes throughout the development lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and provide detailed reports on test results
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity trends to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 6+ years of work experience in Software Development Engineer in Test with automation testing experience
- Coding proficiency in one or more of the following languages with the ability to quickly learn new languages: Python, Java, Go, C++
- Proven experience as an SDET or in a similar role within the cybersecurity domain
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C# for test automation purposes
- Expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks, with a focus on security testing
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, protocols, and industry standards
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and version control systems
- Solid understanding of software development processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to work in an agile development environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- ISTQB, or other relevant certifications are a plus
