Sr. Robotics and Automation Account Executive

Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Sr Robotics and Automation Account Executive. In this role, you will bring your experience, domain-expertise and industry connections to the Intrinsic Commercial team, with the overall goal to increase the adoption of our software by Solution Builders, and to facilitate the successful deployment of robotic solutions at End-customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as a door opener for Intrinsic in the US ecosystem, connecting the Revenue team with Robotics Solution Builders, End-customers of Automation and Robotics Asset Builders
  • Leveraging your domain expertise and customer management skills, close and grow your own strategic accounts, by:
    • Exploring customer robotic automation needs, assess if their opportunity is aligned with Intrinsic (velocity, scale, value of opportunity) 
    • Together with Intrinsic “Customer Solution Engineering” team, charting path to Production with customer, i.e how to progressively go from lab experiment to pilot to production. Will include proactively shaping early concept design, and optimizing it across different dimensions (BOM cost, cycle time, level of versatility vs fixturing, footprint, etc) to ensure the business case works for all parties 
    • Help other Account Executives in the US by sharing your domain expertise 
  • Inform our commercial offering and GTM based on your observation of customer feedback and understanding of market needs

How your work moves the mission forward

Your role is pivotal in advancing our mission by generating traction on key metrics such as the number of robots / solutions deployed with Intrinsic support, and generated revenues.

Skills you will need to be successful

  • Strong domain expertise in robotics and automation. You started your career in technical positions, understand key component of a robotic automation (robot arm, industrial PC, peripherals, connections to OT devices, etc) and are able to influence technical decision-makers
  • Experience deploying robotics and automation system at end-customers in production
  • Strong industry connections with decision-makers at robotic Solution Builders, Asset Builders or End-customers
  • Understanding of key trends, needs, pain points among these players, as well as well as typical business cases they are confronted to
  • Ability to problem-solve (rather than simply reusing existing playbooks) to define and execute effective sales strategies, in the context of ambiguous environment as we introduce both new technology and new business model
  • Rigor, quant skills
  • Clear, structured and succinct oral and written communication
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes within North America.

Skills that will differentiate your candidacy

  • Previous companies: P1: System Integrator. P2: Robotics startup or Robot OEM background
  • Functional expertise: Engineering/Robotics background with experience deploying automation systems in factories and warehouses. Additional commercial experience is a plus

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $156,800 - $248,900 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
