Job Summary: Senior Workday Reporting and Data Management Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry, Data Interfaces, and Audits (50%)

  • Conduct regular data integrity audits in Workday to ensure accuracy in supervisory orgs, position management data, and related fields.
  • Approve and process HR data transactions in Workday, including address changes, new hires, terminations, transfers, leaves of absence, promotions, and compensation updates.
  • Manage contractor and temporary data processing, including onboarding, offboarding, and contract-related information.
  • Prepare and audit bonus submissions for each payroll cycle.
  • Audit and reconcile offer letter data with Workday, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly system data audits by validating Workday data against Payroll, Greenhouse ATS, E*TRADE, and other systems.
  • Act as a liaison between Payroll, Benefits, Stock Administration, and HR Business Partners to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Update and maintain process documentation as changes occur.
  • Ensure the accuracy, security, and confidentiality of employee data within Workday; develop, create, test, and execute mass operations (EIBs).

HR Reporting and Other Responsibilities (50%)

  • Maintain an inventory and use case catalog for continuous updating and optimization of the Workday HCM reports portfolio.
  • Own and manage Workday HR custom reports for the People Operations team.
  • Partner with People Analytics to translate stakeholder requirements into actionable analytical solutions.
  • Collaborate with the HR Technology team to plan for current reporting responsibilities transitioning to the Data Management team.
  • Manage and resolve business-as-usual requests related to Workday reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate resolution of reporting issues to minimize business disruptions.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all Workday reports.
  • Identify and advocate for enhancements to reporting methodologies and systems to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay updated on the latest Workday reporting features, continuously improving skills and report quality.
  • Proactively suggest enhancements to existing reports and reporting processes to better serve the organization.
  • Create a plan for standardizing and organizing Workday reports and provide ongoing support for custom reporting requests.
  • Maintain documentation for SOX and other compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with non-HR functions (e.g., IT, Finance, Sales Operations) to identify and standardize non-confidential reports.

Position Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on Workday experience.
  • 2+ years of experience writing and updating Workday reports.
  • Familiarity with Workday reporting tools (e.g., BIRT, Calculated Reports).
  • B.S. in Business, Information Systems, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Excel.
  • Understanding of HR, Payroll, and Finance business processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for translating stakeholder requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively multitasking and prioritizing work.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • Strong team player with a customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information.
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated data analysis skills.
