Vimeo is seeking a Sr. Recruiter to join our People team. The Sr. Recruiter will be skilled at building strong candidate and hiring manager relationships, and leveraging the power of rapport, employer brand, and market knowledge to find, engage, and hire top talent.
We are a globally distributed Recruiting team eager to welcome team members who value collaboration, inclusivity, and have a drive to constantly grow their expertise in the Recruiting space.
What you’ll do:
- Own the full recruitment life cycle - from kicking off roles with hiring managers, to building pipelines and shepherding candidates through a standardized interview process, all the way through to extending and negotiating offers and securing hires.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to create innovative engagement strategies alongside consistent processes that will identify and attract the right talent for Vimeo’s business needs.
- Have a deep commitment to candidate experience and treating each applicant - whether they be a referral, sourced candidate, or inbound applicant - with equal care.
- Demonstrate high detail orientation and an understanding of how an ATS and the way we store our data impacts reporting and ability to monitor the health of our requisitions.
- Use a data-informed approach to advise your hiring teams, providing updates that celebrate the wins as well as quickly identify any areas where improvement or a pivot is needed.
- Collaborate with HRBPs, Rewards, and Finance to ensure we are getting ahead of upcoming headcount and attrition while balancing being mindful of both the external market and internal peer equity.
- Work closely with our Sr. Global Belonging & Social Enablement Director to ensure we are bringing diverse perspectives into Vimeo.
- Generously share and absorb knowledge across the broader Recruiting Team.
Skills and knowledge you should possess:
- 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, ideally in high-volume, tech-focused environments.
- A breadth of knowledge and experience successfully recruiting for a mix of domains and seniorities, but with a particular passion for technical and/or hard to fill positions.
- A sharp eye for resume review as well as market knowledge to help identify passive candidates on LinkedIn. You love looking for the needle in the haystack!
- Demonstrated track record of managing both active and passive candidate funnels and driving referrals.
- Ability to develop solid relationships and proactively engage with both candidates and hiring managers.
- Experience training and mentoring teammates, continuously knowledge-sharing at all stages in the hiring cycle.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to independently problem solve, even without existing processes in place.
- Practiced skills in delivering offers and the art of negotiation.
- A dedication to helping Vimeo build a diverse workforce across all functions and levels.
- Desire to contribute to broader People Team initiatives that support our Department and company goals.
Bonus points (nice skills to have, but not needed):
- Ideally, some prior experience in global recruitment (or an eagerness to build networks in new regions).
- Familiarity with some of our existing systems and tools such as Greenhouse ATS, Linkedin Recruiter, Lattice, UKG, Slack, G-suite.
