About the Role : We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Sr Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with 7+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a Sr Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, you will play a crucial role in manual and automation testing. You will collaborate closely with our development teams to identify issues, report defects, and assist in maintaining a high level of software quality.
In your role as a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans for frontend systems.
- Developing, executing and maintaining e-2-e tests using playwright.
- Conducting thorough regression testing to identify and address software defects and ensure overall system stability.
- Regularly checking the performance of the website.
- Collaborating with the developers to understand system architecture and design effective testing strategies.
- Working closely with product managers, developers and other QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Analyzing business requirements, implementation documentation, and design specifications for validity, testability, and feasibility.
- Developing and maintaining existing automation frameworks.
- Setting up, monitoring the environment, and keep track of the release pipeline, handling failed e-2-e tests and either fixing them or escalating them.
- Applying quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
- Contributing new ideas within the QA chapter/guild together with other testers.
- Helping with process improvements to increase work efficiency and quality delivered.
- Acting as a domain expert that holds together the customer journey throughout the whole system.
- Comfortable in using tools like React Profiler for performance monitoring.
- Testing the responsiveness of the website and cross browser testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on frontend testing.
- Experience with manual testing and exploratory testing
- Strong proficiency in Javascript, ES6 and Typescript.
- Experience with Playwright.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Professional command of English.
- 8+ years of experience within software testing.
Meritorious:
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Experience in testing React applications.
- Experience in working with React applications.
- Previous experience in the travel industry is a plus.
