About the Role

This individual will oversee the management of 2 high priority, strategic programs focused on rolling out new Fulfillment capabilities in EMEA and APEC, specifically Cross Border Shipping and Click and Collect.  These are critical to our ongoing enhancements in the Omni space.  This role will have a dedicated scrum team focused in this area including dedicated Scrummaster, BA and 5-6 Developers and QA’s.  There will also be a Product Manager aligned to this work. 

*Must be local to Seattle, WA and willing to go into the office 2 days per week.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Product Managers as required to define, design, plan and deliver strategic initiatives to our guest in EMEA and APEC
  • Develop and manage project plans including milestone tracking and reporting.  The team is moving to adopt Smartsheets as the standard.
  • Dependency identification and management across all stakeholder groups, ensuring these items are completed in a timeline that ensure the work progresses as required.
  • Communicates program status as required and via various channels (status reports, email updates, teams channels, dashboards).
  • Keeps the assigned team members (direct, virtual) engaged and informed, through kick off meetings, standups, huddles, etc. 
  • Partners with Scrummasters (beyond the Localized Fulfillment Team) as required when resources sit within their teams.
  • Manages interaction with vendor partners (staffing, software) as appropriate.
  • Acts as key evangelist for the program.

Program Management:  

  • Establish Program Foundation including:
    • Program Documentation Location and Standards
    • Team Org Charts
    • Communication Channels
    • RAID log and Management practices
    • Status reporting process
    • Governance and Leadership Engagement Processes​
    • Financials and Budget tracking (if applicable)
  • Establish core delivery management practices and ceremonies, working with Scrum Master and other Dev Leaders
  • Develop, maintain and manage program timeline​.
  • Mobilize kick off activities across all stakeholder groups​.
  • Establish dependency management and collaboration processes, including intake with enabling teams.
  • Secure and onboard team members are required​.
  • Facilitate review meetings and workshops with Dev team members as content becomes available from Product​.
  • Lead regular workstream status meetings to ensure all tracks are on schedule, addressing key dependencies between tracks and providing status updates to all stakeholder groups and forums as appropriate.
  • Partner effectively with the Product Manager to ensure project/program scope is managed in accordance with the finalized BRD.
  • Manage RAID log and track completion of these items

 Team Management Performance/Advocacy:  

  • Estimate and secure all team members/resources to needed to complete the project as desired, including those from third party vendors.
  • Key advocate for team members as needed
  • Safeguard the team and their efforts to ensure delivery health and performance meets expectations without burn out.  
  • Maintain a pulse on overall team vibrations, sharing with others as appropriate
  • Ensure teams processes are being followed, identifying areas where developing individual team members would increase overall team effectiveness.  

 Delivery Management: 

  • Manage intake process with all partner and dependent teams.
  • Facilitate communication and work activities with support of enabling teams (such as BBR, CDP, SFMC, etc).
  • Ensure phase requirements (if applicable) are understood, tracked and completed as required.
  • Maintain and report project/program status, providing the “single source of truth” when it comes to progress toward program goals.
  • Attend agile ceremonies as appropriate and required by aligned Scrummaster. Account for production support efforts within the Capacity Plans and subsequent Sprint Plans developed with the team.  
  • Provide inputs to aligned tech managers of trends or blockers associated with Dev team.  
  • Develop and manage milestones and task level activities for selected “special projects” to ensure visibility and adherence to target schedule.
  • Communicate and engage with key stakeholders, keeping them informed on delivery activities, timelines and blockers.
  • Confirm all relevant documentation and product details are refined and design decisions are finalized and documented.
  • Ensure traceability across all requirements, from BRD to Functional Specs (if applicable) to QA Test Cases, etc.

 Process Improvement (PI):  

  • Ensure a continual process improvement focus exists across the team, supporting an environment of experimentation and new practice trials.
  • Work with Scrummaster to ensure retro findings are incorporated into the teams' work.
  • Ensure consistency with lulu’s INTL common practices. 
  • Contribute to and lead Process Improvement activities as appropriate.   
  • Partner with peer Project/Program Managers to share and leverage lessons learned, fostering a PI culture at all times. 
  • Facilitate team assessments, against the common practice frameworks in use for INTL. 

 Team Culture:  

  • Celebrate and communicate (peacock it out) team successes including calling out positive team behaviors or individual contributions.  
  • Partner closely with the Product Managers and team members to identify opportunities to work closely/collaboratively within the team and across teams. 
  • Build time for fun/silly time with the team. 
  • Identify and address with individuals or the group those behaviors that run counter to positive team culture. 
  • Foster collaborative and productive culture. 
  • Foster trust within the team, people speaking up at meetings, etc.

SALARY AND BENEFIT HIGHLIGHTS

We consider a variety of factors when making compensation decisions. We share this to ensure transparency and set expectations for those considering opportunities with us.  
The beginning salary range for this role is $90,000 to $115,000.
As you excel at Amplify, there is potential for salary increases and promotions. If you were to remain in this role, there is earning potential for this level of $150,000.
