Overview

Visa is looking for a Senior Manager of Visa Commercial Solution (VCS) API partner programs who will support the development and execution of a best in class program management in order to scale our API products effectively with Embedded Payments partners. You will be responsible for working with existing and potential partnership teams, supporting the creation of a compelling value proposition, launching new partners, and monitoring and evaluating the partners and their performance against the API partner program key metrics. You will work closely with the product, sales, service, and regional teams to ensure the success of our API products with our embedded payments partners. This role will also have a focus on payables, expense management and enhanced data partners which looks at ways to increase Visa’s commercial payment product across industry verticals.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Business to Business payments ecosystem of commercial cards (Issuing and Acquiring Banks, Financial Technology companies and Payment Service Providers).  

Responsibilities

  • Support key embedded payments use cases with existing and potential partner types on an ongoing basis. Document best practices and API integration success stories across regional teams, refine ideal targets based on market presence and customer base.

  • Support the creation of a compelling value propositions for potential partner types which articulates the benefits of our Visa Commercial APIs and the combined value proposition for when they partner with Visa.

  • Assist in the management of the framework of the VCS API partner programs, that include tracking of embedded payments partners as they go through sales, solutioning to implementation for becoming a client/partner and ensuring alignment within the organization and then tracking against success metrics.  

  • Support the Partner Onboarding Process that enables Visa being comfortable with launching new partners by working with key stakeholders (Third party risk teams, data privacy, legal, cyber security and product teams).

  • Provide subject matter expertise on Visa Commercial Product to partners as Visa co-creates and jointly build client offerings to our client base

  • Gather feedback from partners, and provide input into our VCS APIs roadmap and enhancements to the product management and enhancements required to further gain adoptions

  • Support global regional sales and account management teams to understand our API product roadmap and communicate it their partners

  • Evaluate global enhanced data partners that can provide Visa with inbound data on commercial payments.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications
• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, partner management, or product management in the payments, fintech, or technology industry.
• Strong knowledge of Visa's API products and capabilities, as well as the fintech and issuer landscape and needs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders and partners.
• Proven track record of delivering results, managing complex projects, and supporting cross-functional teams.
• Analytical, and creative thinker, with a customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
