Sr. Product Manager, Smartpages

Seattle, United States
Full-Time
About Highspot
Highspot is pioneering the category that is fundamentally changing the way companies increase sales productivity. On a mission to transform the way millions of people work with sales enablement, Highspot is committed to building breakthrough software with a spark of magic. We believe a great place to work is about more than the work – it’s about what the company stands for, and how it authentically represents its values in the real world. To this end, we have put intentional focus on creating equitable workspaces for each of our employees. Our goal is to create a culture where everyone feels a deep sense of belonging and is empowered to be an agent of change, with the ability to transform themselves, their workplace, and their world.

About the Role
You will be responsible for SmartPages™, which our users leverage to create microsites within Highspot. SmartPages disrupted our industry because it turned a static content library into an interactive tool. Customers rely heavily on SmartPages, with some of the largest companies in the world spending hundreds of thousands of hours per month using them. These companies share SmartPages with their employees and customers, which leads to hundreds of millions of views per year.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with highly experienced designers and engineers to deliver best-in-class experiences.
  • Understand a broad set of customer requirements, dig into technical constraints, and synthesize complex systems, to design elegantly simple UX.
  • Become the company-wide expert on the customer, market, competitive and product context of SmartPages. This will help you identify, prioritize and execute on both tactical and strategic projects.
  • Develop a point of view on the UX and architecture of SmartPages. Understanding your product to this depth helps design and engineering work through technical/product trade-offs efficiently.

Your Background

  • You have a demonstrated record of shipping great software, with 5+ years of experience as a product manager / owner.
  • This is a technical role. You have partnered directly with senior engineers, and instinctively understand technical concepts and trade-offs.
  • You are passionate about great design. You dive deep into the user experience and are a champion for your users. Your design partners want to work with you again.
  • Familiarity with how large-scale frontend platforms are built and maintained
  • You have done the following often: taken ideas and ambiguous data, defined the “right” outcomes, and then created roadmaps to get there.
  • You leverage quantitative data and qualitative user research to inform decisions, run down basic usability testing independently, and conduct customer interviews in partnership with research.
  • You’re a skilled communicator, who can drive enterprise-level customer conversations, collaborate effectively with other disciplines, and land proposals with stakeholders.
  • Bonus: You have experience building tools for user-led content creation (e.g., modular drag-and-drop interfaces for customizable microsites).
  • Bonus: You have experience in the no-code or low-code space, allowing them to understand the needs of non-technical creators.
  • Bonus: You have experience in enterprise-grade B2B SaaS, and understand the needs of enterprise customers and the mechanics of a SaaS business.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with performance, latency, scaling and data consistency unique to collaboration software, particularly for high-usage environments where many geographically-distributed authors might be contributing simultaneously.
  • Bonus: Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
