JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below)
LOCATION: Remote - Work from anywhere (TimeZone: CST | Partial overlap)
HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $90 – $110/hr
ESTIMATED DURATION: 40h/week - Long term

THE OPPORTUNITY

Requirements:

Previous experience as a product manager, including independent ownership for a product line that you managed from concept to delivery
Previous experience working on technical products (examples include connected products, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, etc.)
5+ years of product management experience in a technology company
Experience working with go-to-market strategy development and execution teams to bring new services to market
Experience leading customer meetings to collect and synthesize requirements
Experience and familiarity of A.I
Experience and familiarity with the Cloud (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure)
Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, computer systems, mathematics, information technology, or similar

Nice To Haves:

Ability to speak Mandarin a plus
Agile and Scrum experience a plus

What you’ll be working on

As a Senior Product Manager on the our client's team, you will be responsible for defining and owning the product strategy and success. You will be responsible for entire end-to-end development cycle for a very exciting and new IOT pet care product, from the earliest stages of problem discovery to technical delivery and customer enablement. Working cross functionally internally and with external agencies, you have the opportunity to make a true impact in redefining the pet care industry.

What you'll be working on:

Develop product requirements and roadmaps based on consumer needs and corporate strategies.
Make tactical trade off decisions based on data and analytics around features, resources, and timeline.
Evaluate solutions provided 3rd party design firm, provide educated POV, maintain delivery quality and timeliness
Work closely with hardware, firmware, cloud and AI teams to deliver product and features to market.
Develop and test hypotheses, track and analyze results
