The Commercial Analytics team builds critical, trusted data analytics and insights to enable healthcare leaders to make data-driven decisions that impact millions of patients across the United States. The Commercial Analytics team’s goal is to enable our clients to understand, appreciate, and extract the most value out of their Cedar relationship and products. The team’s ambition is to deliver data products to healthcare providers that

- empower providers to take advantage of Cedar’s varying features to maximize value, and

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and executing on goals and objectives that align to Cedar’s company strategy. You will synthesize short-term needs and signals into long-term strategies and projects, collaborate cross-functionally to drive the team’s goals forward, and partner closely with client-facing teams to iterate on the best possible solutions for our clients.
You will develop data products that underscore value that our products deliver for our clients. These data products will communicate the value of our product suite or provide standalone value for our clients.
You are responsible for ensuring that the team can scalably impact our cliens’ success through data insights. You should be an expert in working with complex data, using visualization tools such as Looker, and have a keen understanding of how to apply data to address ambiguous problems.
At a high level, the role will involve:

Product Strategy: Work with clients, prospects and other healthcare entities to ensure we have an understanding of important problems to solve as well as opportunities for Cedar to differentiate ourselves as the market leader in insights regarding patients' financial experience. Develop strategies that will help us achieve these goals."

Execution: working with Commercial teams, Design, Data Science to execute on the strategy, deliver high quality data products
Commercialization: Collaborate with our commercial + business teams to understand evolving customer needs, iterate, and drive adoption to fully realize customer value

Infrastructure: Collaborate with data science and data engineering on data infrastructure, data governance, data quality, and visualization tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead product discovery through direct client engagement and market research in order to gain market insights and drive product strategy
- Investigate and scope which key problems your product area should solve
- Develop and lead execution on a clear and strategic roadmap aligned with company objectives
- Collaborate closely with commercial and technical partners to unblock team goals and drive shared objectives forward
- Ensure Cedar clients have access to the data and insights that they need to understand how Cedar helps them meet their goals
- Collaborate with data teams on required infrastructure needs.
- Scale the team’s existing analytics tools and dashboards and develop future iterations based on needs
- Present and clearly communicate data findings and underlying methodology to partners across all levels of the organization, including those without data backgrounds
- Partner with sales, account management and operations to ensure seamless delivery and full value for customers
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of product management experience working directly with a team of engineers and data analysts/ data scientists
- Experience collaborating with business teams; including sales, finance, and client management
- Strong presentation, communication, and project management skills
- Prior B2B product experience in an enterprise client-facing role
- An analytical perspective and passion for finding actionable opportunities and insights within complex data
- Experience with SQL and visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
Bonus Qualifications
- Prior experience product managing a B2B data, insights, or analytics product
- Domain knowledge in the healthcare space (providers, insurance companies, tech companies…), specifically within the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Electronic Medical Record (EMR), or patient engagement spaces
Compensation Range and Benefits
- Salary/Hourly Rate Range*: $164,050 - $193,000
