About the team
HashiCorp’s Portfolio Strategy team is central to our R&D organization and closely connected to product management, engineering, design, product marketing, support, and go-to-market teams. As a Senior Product Insights Analyst focused on our partner alliances, you will connect our product development process to business outcomes and help to grow the partner ecosystem. This is an opportunity to play a key role in driving impact throughout the product development lifecycle and contribute to the strategic direction of our and our partners’ products. This is an internally focused role, with a strong emphasis on using data and insights to support our internal teams in maximizing the success of our partnerships.
What you’ll do (responsibilities)

Grow the Ecosystem: Support the Partner Alliances team in their mission to enhance growth and efficiency across our partner ecosystem throughout the lifecycle of strategic alliances, focusing on insights and strategies that will help us achieve strategic differentiation for HashiCorp’s product portfolio and maximize mutual value.

Strategic Planning for Partnerships: Leverage data-driven insights to identify opportunities for new partnerships and alliances. Develop actionable recommendations to expand HashiCorp’s ecosystem and align partnership strategies with long-term business goals. Drive strategic business transformation initiatives, like quarterly business reviews.

Collaborative Roadmap Enhancement: Work closely with product management and partner alliances teams to leverage partner success metrics for product roadmap enhancements, ensuring alignment with both partner objectives and HashiCorp’s strategic goals.

Competitive Intelligence: Monitor the competitive landscape for our key partners, assessing how their offerings, strategic moves, and market positioning impact our joint efforts and strategic objectives. Provide actionable insights to refine partnership strategies and strengthen competitive positioning.

Partner Success Measurement: Develop and maintain a comprehensive evaluation framework to measure the success of our existing partner alliances. Utilize telemetry data to assess performance across key metrics, including revenue contribution, joint go-to-market success, and product adoption.
What you’ll need (minimum qualifications)

Experience: 8+ years of experience in product management, data analytics, or a related field, with a focus on the DevOps space.

Background: Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS business models and the value chain involved in delivering value through strategic alliances.

Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically, with a proven track record of creating frameworks to measure success and using them to drive improved performance.

Analytical & Technical Skills: Experience analyzing complex datasets (Snowflake, SQL, Python, Tableau, Sigma, etc.), and providing actionable insights is essential.

Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, sales, and marketing. Experience in aligning diverse teams to achieve strategic objectives is essential.

Problem Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a track record of identifying issues and developing innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to executive level stakeholders.
What's nice to have (preferred qualifications)

Education: A degree in computer science, statistics, data science, or an MBA.

Experience with Hyperscaler Partnerships: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP, including how to leverage their ecosystems for product development and go-to-market strategies.

Knowledge of Co-Sell Dynamics: Experience working in or alongside co-sell initiatives with partners like Palo Alto Networks and an understanding of the complexities involved.

Understanding of Integration Strategies: Experience with integrating products from build partners into larger ecosystems.
