- Develop and evolve Design System components, patterns, principles, and libraries, collaborating with other designers to ensure consistency and efficiency across our products.
- Create and maintain comprehensive style guides, documentation, mockups, and presentations that effectively communicate our design language, while producing clear specifications to advocate for its use.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure the Design System meets all stakeholders' needs, and promote its adoption throughout the organization.
- Promote the Design System across the organization, offering guidance and support to teams using it.
- Continuously improve the Design System based on user feedback, new technology trends, and emerging design patterns, adapting to the evolving needs of our enterprise software environment.
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a focus on Design Systems and component libraries, and enterprise software experience.
- A solid understanding of design principles, interaction design, and visual design, and can create low and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Experience working with or implementing Design Systems in previous roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of their importance and application.
- Coding or technical knowledge to collaborate with developers and understand design implementation.
- Excel at organizing and structuring complex information, and can drive topics from inception to completion.
- A proactive team player with excellent communication skills, able to give and receive feedback openly and constructively.
- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Passionate about creating accessible designs and have experience designing for diverse user groups.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality design work.
- Experience with data visualization design is a significant advantage as we're looking to strengthen our expertise in this area.
- Solid presentation skills and can articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable with iterative design and can adapt quickly to changing requirements and feedback.
