In this critical position, you will be responsible for reviewing, managing, and booking sales orders while acting as a key advocate for sales, partners, and customers at Gigamon. As part of the global order management team, you will collaborate across multiple teams, ensuring efficient transactions and resolving issues to promote sales enablement. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements that drive team scalability and productivity.
What You’ll Do:
- Review, book, and manage sales orders from partners and direct customers.
- Act as a corporate liaison for order management, working closely with the Go-to-Market teams.
- Gain a deep understanding of the order-to-cash process and the systems that support it.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, accountability, accuracy, and urgency.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Sales Operations, and Manufacturing to ensure smooth order flow.
- Partner with Legal and Logistics teams to identify export and trade compliance issues.
- Train partners on order submission requirements and advocate process improvements.
- Take ownership of cross-functional projects including UAT, system enhancements, and business transformation.
- Monitor high-stage opportunities, ensuring timely review and management of Salesforce data.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding delivery issues and maintain positive customer relations.
- Process RMA/Rebill orders and perform status checks on orders to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
What You’ve Done:
- BA/BS degree preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in Sales Operations or Order Management, ideally in a high-tech environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and experience working with minimal supervision.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.
- Experience with D365 preferred; Salesforce and ERP/CRM tools are a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills paired with strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
