The Sr. Technical Product Manager, role is part of the Supply Chain technology team within Global Technology Enterprise Products and Platform. The role reports to the Director of Master Data, Foundation and Compliance and is responsible for driving the Supply Chain Product Information Management platform outcomes, managing the agile product and process, driving better user experience and adoption, and ensuring alignment with the Global and Market Supply Chain team.

Job Description
- Define a holistic approach to (Master) data management and Product Information Management (PIM) to drive and deliver business objectives.
- Apply the concept of Bill of Materials and how it is used in Supply Chain process.

Lead and drive product backlogs with functional requirements from business stakeholders with respect to master data management strategies and implementation.

Lead conversation with scrum team using the technology capability to drive how user journey can be defined for a given business process in the solution.

Define product roadmaps and influence business discussion with recommendations on how a functionality/workflow/user journey should be defined by leveraging the technology stacks capability.

Lead, understand, and evaluate business processes, enabling the translation of business needs successfully into information and data requirements.
- Work with business analysts to ensure that process flows are aligned with respect to the agreed business process and provide two-way communications between the stakeholders and the extended project team on processes and functionalities.

Lead a discussion with the extended project team and review that acceptance criteria are captured, which resonates with the outcome of a functionality.

Act as a key point of contact for the extended team to clarify product/solution functionality for the Supplier, Item, and Menu Item domain from an end-user perspective.

Lead technical discussion and planning with business and technology stakeholder to factor in the dependency of cross functaional team for product rollout in different geographies.

Take ownership and work closely with Technology Architects/Leads to understand and drive simplification and consistent user experience across the platform/solutions.
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with Agile Product Management methods and terminology
- 8+ years of Technical Product Management experience
- You apply a holistic approach to (Master) data management, quality principles, and a culture change, supporting the realization of business objectives.
- You must understand the concept of Bill of Materials and how it is used in Supply Chain process.
- You understand the importance of change management in implementing functionality and data strategies.
- You must be able to translate a complex use case into a simplified visual representation in a powerful manner and have the ability to assess build vs buy approach for complex business case.
- You are a self-starter with a keen interest in adapting to new processes, challenging the status quo, and highly motivated towards program success.
- You must possess a good understanding of data governance processes, how APIs function.
- You must a clear understanding of how different technology stacks works together and understands it core capability
- Demonstrated oral/written communications skills to multiple levels of leadership with the ability to convey complex ideas in easy-to-understand business friendly language
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of McDonalds restaurant operations and processes
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, PowerBI/Tableau, Stibo STEP, Riversand or any PIM solutions
- Knowledge on Production Information Management and Master Data Management
- Experience in multi country rollout of a Product.
