We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our omni channel media campaigns and strategy in Central America & Caribbean region to drive business results and innovation and performance. The role will be responsible for leading all omni-channel media, strategy, planning, execution, optimization and reporting. This person will also be responsible for digital excellence, ensuring all digital channels are activated with the best practices and guidelines. The position reports to Latin America Director of Media based in Miami. The main stakeholders of this role will be the marketing team in Central America and the Caribbean, divided in consumer and client marketing.
This person will partner with marketing, business leads and agencies, driving high visibility media plans. The role offers a strong intersection of media and digital evangelist for the region as well as media expert, ensuring all plans are built and activated using the most efficiency and successful channels, partners and formats. This person needs to be able to lead measurement conversation, understanding the media funnel for business and for brand metrics. The role also requires passion for creating capabilities and developing the Visa Team on the newest and more effective media strategies, business acumen and strong communication and leadership skills.
Specific Requirements:
Lead omni channel media campaigns for Visa direct campaigns and joint campaigns for our clients (banks, merchants, fin-techs). From strategy to results, with strong performance mind set.
Be the point of contact for the media agency
Understand and lead conversations and strategy around the ever-moving scenario of media recommendation.
Strong media optimization mindset
Strong accountability for the success of the plans and full activation in all channels
Collaborate with agencies to design social conversation, own channels updates
Responsible for all media legal approvals and data privacy for the plans
Be digital evangelist for the region and stay abreast of key media and digital trends.
Create and deploy a Media/Digital Center of Excellence to support local marketing teams to excel in new ways of marketing including media, content and digital best practices, training, guidance, Global deployments
Deepen and nurture relationships with media publishers and technology companies to enable first-mover access, most competitive rates, and development of innovative programs that drive our brand and business forward.
Define and reinforce media quality standards for brand safety, viewability, verification and fraud reduction
Work with multiple stakeholders, marketing leads, clients, regional and global teams
Daily execution of the campaigns in partnership with the performance team for media optimization and A/B testing
Deploy innovation projects and test different publishers and new partners/technologies
Work in partnership with the marketing team to deploy brilliant content leveraged to each channel (offline, digital, social)
Partner with cross functional teams, agency and media partners to drive seamless execution
Strong communication skills to brief agency partners, media publishers and network partners to develop effective media plans and breakthrough programs
Partner with Analytics team to define clear campaign goals and with the performance team to execute media accordingly.
Manage multiple work streams, drive flawless execution and have a passion for testing & learning.
Drive innovation and optimization across media ecosystem in service of helping to evolve Visa’s go-to-market approach.
Collaborates with internal Marketing/IT/Product and external agency functions on the development and implementation of marketing tools.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 127,400.00 to 184,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
