Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) team is looking for an individual to join our consulting practice and play a key role leading high impact projects in the Southern Cone region. The potential candidate will be responsible for delivering and implementing projects and solutions with issuers, Merchants, acquirers, neobanks and fintechs. This person will develop initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both, the preferred brand and unique business partner.
Potential engagements could include portfolio management diagnostics, authorization optimization strategies, assessments of digital product and marketing programs, development of new products with implementation roadmaps, optimizing client customer servicing processes, among others.
Specific responsibilities include:
Incumbents applying for the role should be motivated, analytic individuals who will deliver strategic thought leadership, problem diagnostics and high impact solutions to support the client’s growth and performance. Candidates must be able to develop enduring, strategic relationships with clients and across the Visa organization.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2+ years of work experience with a PhD
• Ideally in quantitative field (e.g. engineering, economics, computer science, business administration, finance…).
• 5+ years experience working in the payments or financial industry, preferably managing cards portfolios or relevant experience at payments management in consulting firms
• Demonstrated experience in strategy and management consulting, with proven project deliveries and expertise in consulting methodologies
• Project management skills are a key requirement given that this role involves managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders simultaneously
• Executive presence including excellent communication and presentations skills, written and verbal, and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations
• Excellent client relationship management skills (on senior executive level and across all levels of an organization) and ability to develop a credible point of view on a variety of industry topics, acting as a trusted advisor and show thought leadership
• Demonstrated leadership, managerial and collaboration capabilities, particularly with those who are not direct reports as may be found in a matrixed organization
• Knowledge of payment schemes, including products, processes, cards lifecycle management
• Passionate, self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
