We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, DT Applications (Product) to lead the strategy, development, and optimization of our Finance domain applications. This role requires a strong understanding of Finance processes and the ability to drive product-centric solutions that enhance business outcomes. You will be responsible for managing a cross-functional team to deliver innovative digital solutions that align with business goals and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Domain Leadership:
Lead the strategy and roadmap for Finance-related applications like Order-to-Cash, FP&A and Record-to-Report etc, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial regulations.
Partner with Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams to identify and implement technology solutions that streamline operations, enhance reporting accuracy, and support financial planning and analysis.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and regulatory changes in the Finance domain, ensuring that the organization's applications remain compliant and competitive.
Product Mindset & Strategy:
Drive a product-centric approach to application management, focusing on user experience, scalability, and value delivery.
Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for Finance applications, ensuring alignment with broader digital transformation goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and manage the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact solutions.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead a team of product managers, engineers, and analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance on product management best practices, domain expertise, and technical skills.
Manage team resources effectively, ensuring that projects are staffed appropriately and delivered on time and within budget.
Project & Stakeholder Management:
Oversee the full lifecycle of application projects, from initial concept through deployment and ongoing support.
Engage with senior stakeholders across Finance, IT, and other business units to ensure alignment and buy-in for key initiatives.
Track and report on project performance, using metrics to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate ROI.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for innovation within the Finance domain, leveraging emerging technologies to drive business value.
Implement best practices in Agile and DevOps to enhance the efficiency and quality of application delivery.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to experiment with new ideas and approaches.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
10 -15 years of experience in digital technology, with a focus on Finance applications and product management.
Strong knowledge of Finance processes, regulations, and best practices.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a SaaS or technology-driven organization.
Knowledge of ERP systems, financial planning tools, and reporting platforms.
Experience with cloud-based Finance applications and digital transformation initiatives.
