Job Title: Senior Manager, Seller Operation Management
What will you do?
The Seller Operation Management team ensures a secure and high-quality marketplace by monitoring seller activities, enforcing policies, and driving operational improvements. This role focuses on three key areas: Seller Performance Management, Product Gating, and Intellectual Property Rights Monitoring to enhance marketplace compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Management
• Enforce seller policies, including sales suspensions, reinstatements, and appeal reviews.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve seller performance and compliance.
• Optimize internal processes through SOP development and process enhancements.
• Analyze seller performance data to identify trends and implement improvement initiatives.
Product Gating & Seller Verification
• Verify sellers and assess distribution channels for specific categories and brands.
• Conduct pre-gating checks on product listings to ensure compliance before sales approval.
• Monitor and re-evaluate previously approved sellers and products for compliance violations.
• Prevent policy circumvention by detecting unauthorized product registrations and seller connections.
Intellectual Property Rights Monitoring
• Monitor and investigate counterfeit product listings to prevent IP infringements.
• Handle customer and internal reports related to counterfeit products.
• Utilize monitoring tools to detect and remove counterfeit listings.
• Track high-risk sellers and take preventive actions against repeat offenders.
Essential Qualifications:
• 8+ years in e-commerce operations, seller management, policy enforcement, or risk management
• Ability to manage diverse tasks and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent command of English; proficiency in Korean is a great plus.
• Ability to manage complex and evolving marketplace challenges.
