Sr. Manager, People Analytics Program Management

This role will be part of the People Analytics team within the Global Talent Organization (GTO) at LinkedIn. People Analytics analyzes current and prospective employee data to enable agility through better, faster talent decisions. This is a full-time role. 

Responsibilities:    

  • Proven track record of managing enterprise level data program heavily focused on self-service ideation, development and adoption. 

  • Consulting experience in data projects with ability to envision a road map that aligns with enterprise vision 

  • Employ advanced elicitation techniques to gather business requirements, translate into solution designs document, communicate with business on viable solutions  

  • Product thinking: Experience in managing data solutions from a product perspective. Keep abreast of industry best practices, technologies, competing products to help in strategizing a solid product roadmap.    

  • Create, own and maintain a product backlog that reflects business, IT & enterprise vision.  

  • Manage prioritization to meet immediate business requirements and act as an advocate to ensure alignment with long term goals. 

  • Negotiation skills to manage expectations with stakeholders at multiple levels and business functions within the organization.  

  • Experience with managing development teams with varied skill sets and geography.  

  • Manage overall delivery - drive accountability, establish milestones, timelines, and business impact for each function / functionality. 

  • Deployment management – Ideate & establish framework for a continuous integration and deployment enabling optimal speed to market, ensure all prerequisites are met for any deployment in production.   

  • Oversight for organizing best in class training in different formats (digital, train the trainers, instructor led training, etc.) 

  • Bring critical thinking & problem-solving skills to a range of challenging problems.  

  • Responsible for regular cadence to update stakeholders with program health, risks, mitigation plan, challenges, etc.  

  • Define and implement a KPI driven framework to measure Service Level and track adherence from that point on.  

  • Measure and drive product adoption, capture feedback to enable a continuous product improvement cycle.  

  • Evangelize and practice the “storytelling” concept. Ensuring that all the capabilities that we roll into production share a business story in a meaningful way. 

 

Basic Qualifications:     

  • 10+ years of IT experience 
  • 10+ years of work experience in a role that involves coordinating data programs. 
  • 10+ years of work experience managing stakeholders and engineering teams. 
  • Experience implementing self-service model using Microsoft stack (Hybrid and / or full cloud). 
  • 10+ years of work experience in a role that involves the generation of technology roadmap (that includes technical and capabilities components)
  • Experience with Data Governance  
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience  

Preferred Qualifications:     

  • MBA or equivalent degree
  • Unparalleled ability to transform stakeholders’ ideas into capabilities. 
  • High proficiency in T-SQL  
  • Coordinated the implementation of Data Science enterprise level programs.  
  • Experience in enterprise integration, primarily focused on HR systems. 
  • Experience in more than one cloud technology.

The pay range for this role is $138,000 - $215,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
