The Catalog operation Sr.Manager will be responsible of leading team to support selection onboarding operations and troubleshooting issue management regarding global catalog management. An individual with experience in resource management, data entry, or process innovation in the e-commerce/operations/data fields. Also, cultivate the talents to strive for excellence and deliver outstanding result in short time.
The ideal candidate will be an individual who is willing to take up challenges, be forward-looking and is eager to learn. Also, S/he can simplify the goal and find a way to move with urgency. S/he will be expected to communicate with various counter-parts in and outside of Coupang to deliver results and develop processes and solutions to wow customers.
What you'll do :
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to define opportunities, plan, and execute processes to optimize catalog update schemes and drive efficiencies.
2. Manage good catalog quality and collaborate with the Headcount allocation, Catalog Operations, and Tools and Systems teams to improve the catalog update scheme.
3. Identify and troubleshoot catalogue issues. Deep dive and resolve bottlenecks in teams.
4. Recruit team members, provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to achieve KPI goals.
Basic Qualifications :
· Minimum of 10+ years of experience in roles related to operations, catalog quality management, SOP establishment and process improvement programs, responsibility for operational processes.
· 5+ years of experience in leading change initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across many teams.
· Knowledge of English and Korean - the role will work with English-speaking senior leadership and partners.
· Strong skills in managing projects from inception to completion, with demonstrated ability to lead multiple teams to deliver results within time constraints and with strong focus on accuracy and details.
· Experience in conducting hands-on deep dives into issues, identifying root causes, and proposing practical solutions; ability to synthesize information quickly, extract key insights, and present insights to director-level stakeholders or higher.
· Demonstrated top-class people management skills, ability to mentor and guide team members, experience of building teams while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
· Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with and influence various internal and cross-functional stakeholders.
· Experience in efficiently managing teams and demonstrating leadership to imporve performance.
· Experience in online platforms, SOP definition, defects detection, process tuning with automation.
· Basic experience and understanding of data management and through data analysis, driving the optimization for process.
· Preferred background in business management, engineering, SCM, product/project management
· Fluent in Chinese and English
